Oxide Decal Landscape Collection

Inspired by the Devon countryside and coastline. The forms are hand-thrown on a potters wheel, then altered using hand and tools, to capture the fluidity of the material in the finished vessel. The surfaces are treated with a myriad of layered oxides, decals, slips and imprints to convey an abstract landscape. Each unique piece is made from porcelain and finished with clear and coloured food-safe glazes.
