I live in North Wales in the Vale of Clwyd, with views of the Clwydian hills which are the inspiration for my work.
My sculptural pieces show the effects man and the weather have on the landscape, in particular, farming practices and erosion.
I use white slip prior to bisque firing, then decorate with oxides and lead glazes before the final firing. Some pieces are then sand blasted and coated with more oxide before a third firing.
In 2010 I gained a distinction in 3D Design from West Cheshire College and then attended the North Wales school of Art and Design, Glyndwr University, Wrexham, where I graduated with a BA(Hons) in Design; Applied Art. I am currently studying part time for an MA in Art Practice.
Most notable exhibitions to date have been New Designers in Islington and with The Society of Designer Craftsmen, the Mall Galleries London.
